KS2 Money Management Workshop

CAP Money:Kids is a course designed by the award-winning charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP). CAP teaches basic money management skills to over 10,000 people a year across the UK through their CAP Money Course.

Specifically tailored for schools, CAP Money:Kids has been developed with teachers who are keen to equip the next generation with essential skills to ensure they are wise about money in the future.

The course is designed to meet the requirements set out by the curriculum in a fun, engaging way for children aged nine to eleven - years 5 and 6.

Two 95 minute sessions cover topics such as budgeting, saving and spending. This is taught through interactive stories, games and real life situations. It also touches on PSHE, life skills and numeracy, as well as developing teamwork and problem solving skills.

The good news is that there is no advance preparation needed from you! Our trained CAP Money Coaches at CRiBS will do all the work for you by preparing, delivering and teaching the course material. All the resources are also provided. All that we ask is that a class teacher is present to assist with some of the group work in the lesson.

Having recently secured funding, we are able offer Bexley schools the 'CAP Money:Kids' course free of charge.
